I am a writer based in the western U.S. and have been fortunate to explore both my country and others. My favorite travel experience was a two-month stint as a teaching assistant in France, where I traveled all the way around the country. I stayed in a restored water mill in Dinan, an eleventh century monastery in Cadouin, and explored many other incredible cities.
Adrienne Mahsa Varkiani is a journalist and writer currently based in Washington, D.C. She has lived in four countries, and traveled to many more. In the United States, she regularly goes on road trips on the East Coast. Her work has appeared in Slate, Teen Vogue, Mic, The Counter, Extra Crispy, ThinkProgress, and more.
I am a cultural tourist and a self-professed castle, architecture and art lover. I’m the happiest when exploring ancient ruins, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, cultural sites and museums. I am an avid traveller and love to road trip around as much as I can. Epic landscapes and stunning coastal roads are some of my fave places to drive around. I run two travel blogs: Kasiawrites is about cultural adventures and Amongst Romans focuses on my love for Italy. In my spare time, I write mystery novels.
Traveling solo is my jam but I often travel with my husband and two sons. Their needs have shifted my perspective, but not too much. I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area and frequently travel around the United States and Europe (plenty of family there, too). I typically focus my travel experiences around food/restaurants, interesting cultural sites, art and connection with the outdoors. I like to read a book about the place I am visiting while I am there. Countries I have traveled to include: Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Cuba and most Caribbean islands; Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, India; Morocco; Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Britain, Ireland, Scotland. I have lived in Chile, Spain, Switzerland and the United States.
Travelling is my first love, followed by history, literature and good food. I like to combine everything on my travels. I want to get the best out of what the world has to offer.
Hi, there! I'm Valentina who enjoys doing three things - reading, writing, and traveling. I love discovering new places and helping people find the most interesting sights.
Hello, friend! I'm a Ukrainian journalist, copywriter, and event organizer living in Lisbon, Portugal. I'm absolutely in love with this beautiful country and ready to share its hidden gems with you! My life has changed since I left home in 2015 and traveled around the globe. Since then, I have lived in Sri Lanka, China, Nepal and fell in love with Portugal after visiting it and Spain in 2018. I hope you'll have fun using my trips. Enjoy the adventures!
As a travel blogger and freelance writer I've visited over 50 countries, focusing on unique and sometimes offbeat local experiences as well as luxurious and quirky accommodation. I've worked for a number of specialist tour operators and travel agencies, creating content, planning trip itineraries, and even on the ground in operational roles, so I know the travel industry inside out. I've also been writing my blog, Conversant Traveller, for 10 years, and have undertaken several blogging adventures to places like Kenya, Sri Lanka, and Morocco. I travel with my husband, because two's company.
I am a freelance travel writer and blogger based in South Africa. Travel ignites my passion and I would be permanently on the road if I could. My hobbies include taking the road less travelled and discovering fascinating places around the world. I have been to 47 countries thus far, and counting … but my favourite place is in the African bush, on safari.
My passion for travel developed early in life. I was an American who grew up in Hong Kong, which was a convenient base to explore a variety of exciting destinations throughout Southeast Asia. I finished my education back in the United States and lived all over the country. At various points, I was able to call Chicago, Miami, Louisville and Los Angeles home. I now live in Las Vegas and enjoy taking road trips throughout the Southwest with my wife and dogs. I also enjoy international travel. Recent trips have taken me to Sweden, Monaco and Mexico.

Based in Barcelona, he is currently updating another Bradt Guidebook to France, writing stories about Catalonia, and completing copywriting work for travel clients around the globe.
