999 Steps and Fresh Fish at the Beach

Today you will start your day with a good workout climbing 999 steps! Oh, no! But don't worry, you will get rewarded. After your climb, you can take it slow, with some chilling on different beaches and eating fresh fish in a tavern near the sea. Slowly, you will drive home to Athens, where you can sleep in your own bed again. Enjoy the last day of your trip to the fullest!

    Palamidi Fortress

    History
Are you up for a challenge? If it is a hot day, you can start early. To reach this fortress, you will need to climb 999 steps. Pfoe! Take your time, it is not easy, but it's the same as with every hard task in life: if you break it into pieces, it's way easier. So take a rest when you need one, and don't forget to bring a bottle of water with you. The view on top is worth it, promise. You can also look inside the castle.

    Paralia Vivariou

    Natural
There are many beaches with clear waters in Peloponnese, but many of them are very crowded. Here you can find a quieter beach with very nice taverns where you can enjoy a drink or two. Always remember, don't drink and drive!

    STEKI-SOFIKO - Gkerzelis Dimitrios

    Food
When you are hungry during a roadtrip it can be annoying to have to search for a restaurant with a parking place that isn't a fast-food restaurant. Well, here you go! No looking for a parking sport here AND there is great food on the menu. Typical Greek dishes (try the lamb chops) to fill your stomach for the last part of your trip.

    The Ranch

    Fun
If you are here at the weekend, you can visit the Ranch. Which is something entirely different from all the ruins and castles: a western village! It's like walking on a movie set. A very fun place with a great eye for detail. It's great to go with kids, but it is also fun for adults. There are activities like roller coaster rides, horse riding, rock climbing (from 6 years), rodeo (from 12 years) and archery, but the offer varies every week.
If you want to visit for one day, you will have to make an appointment because of the covid regulations. You can get more info here.

Siderona fish tavern serves the freshest fish straight from the fishing nets (the owner of the restaurant also is the owner of some fishing boats). If you want to make sure to get a table, you can reserve one by calling: 2741033049.

    Kinetta beach

    Natural
The last stop before home. To see the sunset, stroll, or just sit and relax while running questions through your mind. Did you like the trip? What did you like the most? Is that a turtle? Am I happy? Should I ask her to marry me or not? What is a baby goat called? If you breathe in and out slowly and close your eyes while counting, the questions will fade. And if your mind is clear, you will feel at ease and ready for the drive home to Athens.
